The AW250ECE is an Artwood series acoustic-electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2011. It was produced in China.

The AW250ECE features a dreadnought body shape with a Venetian cutaway constructed of a solid cedar top on laminated mahogany sides and back with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a wooden rosette and no pickguard. It has a mahogany neck with a satin finish and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with white Ibanez Advantage bridge pins with black dots, a bone nut, and chrome Grover tuning machines with half moon buttons.

Electronics consist of a Fishman Sonicore under saddle pickup feeding an Ibanez AEQ-SST Shape Shifter preamp with on-board tuner powered by a 9V battery and feeding balanced XLR and ¼" outputs.

For 2013 the body depth was increased slightly and the Grover tuners were supplanted by Ibanez die-cast units.

The AW250 is an acoustic-only version without the cutaway. The AW300ECE is a similar model with a solid Engelmann or Sitka spruce top. The AW370ECE is a related model with rosewood back and sides.

The AW250ECE was discontinued after 2015.
