The AW250 is an Artwood series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2011. It was produced in China.
The AW250 features a dreadnought body shape with a solid cedar top on laminated mahogany sides and back with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a wooden rosette and no pickguard. It has a mahogany neck with a satin finish and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with white Ibanez Advantage bridge pins with black dots, a bone nut, and chrome Grover tuning machines with half moon buttons.
For 2013 the body depth was increased slightly and the Grover tuners were supplanted by Ibanez die-cast units.
The AW250ECE is an acoustic-electric version with a cutaway body. The AW300 is a similar model with a solid Engelmann spruce. The AW370 is a related model with rosewood back and sides.
