The AW247CE is an Artwood series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2022. It is made in China.
The AW247CE features a cutaway dreadnought body shape with a solid okoume top on laminated okoume sides and back with an open pore finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone rosette and a red tortoise pickguard. It has a satin finished nyatoh neck with a wide, 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard with black binding and small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in an ovangkol bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines. Electronics consist of an AEQ-TP2 preamp with on-board tuner, a T-bar undersaddle pickup and balanced XLR and ¼" outputs.
The AW1040CE is a similar model with a different preamp. The AW54CE is a related model with a laurel fretboard among some other differences.
