The AW102 is an Artwood series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2017. It was made in China and sold exclusively in China.
The AW102 features a dreadnought body shape with a solid spruce top on sapele back and sides with a high gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a simple black and white acrylic rosette. It has a mahogany neck with a 20-fret laurel fingerboard with binding and small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a laurel bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and chrome tuning machines.
For 2019 the mahogany neck was replaced with nyatoh.
The AW100 is a nearly identical model with a natural finish and a pickguard.
