The AVT2E is an Artwood Vintage series acoustic-electric tenor guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2015. It was made in China.
The AVT2E features a mini dreadnought body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top on mahogany back and sides with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a black and white multi rosette and the top is bordered with herringbone purfling and white binding. It has a satin finished mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut and chrome Ibanez open gear tuning machines with ivory buttons.
Electronics consist of a Fishman Sonicore under saddle pickup with an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and balanced XLR and ¼" stereo outputs.
The AVT2 is a related acoustic-only tenor model with a mini parlor body.
The AVT2E was discontinued after 2016.
