The AVNB1E is an Artwood Vintage series acoustic/electric bass guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2019. It was made in China.
The AVNB1E features a parlor body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top with okoume back and sides with a semi-gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a wooden rosette and the top is bordered with black binding. It has nyatoh neck with an 18-fret ovangkol fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in an ovangkol bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut and cosmo black Ibanez tuning machines. Electronics include an AEQ-SP2 preamp with onboard tuner, a Fishman Sonicore undersaddle pickup, a 9V battery, and balanced XLR and ¼" stereo outputs.
For 2019 the back and sides were changed from mahogany to okoume and the mahogany neck was replaced with nyatoh.
The AVNB1FE is a fretless version with an ovangkol fretboard and bridge. The AVNB2E is a similar model with a different finish, chrome tuners and other minor differences.
The AVNB1E was discontinued after 2019.
