The AVD9MH is an Artwood Vintage series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2017. It was made in China.
The AVD9MH features a dreadnought body shape with a solid Thermo Aged Sitka spruce top with Thermo Aged spruce X bracing and mahogany back and sides with a high gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a black & white multi rosette and the top is bordered with tortoiseshell binding. It has a soft-V shaped mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, a red tortoise pickguard and chrome Ibanez open gear tuning machines.
For 2018 the rosewood bridge and fretboard were replaced with ovangkol.
The AVD9 is a similar model with a Thermo Aged Sitka spruce top. The AVC9 is a similar model with a grand concert body shape and a shorter scale neck. The AVD11 is a related model with a Thermo Aged Caucasian spruce top.
The AVD9MH was discontinued after 2018.
