The AVD6 is an Artwood Vintage series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2016. It was made in China.
The AVD6 features a dreadnought body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides with an open pore finish. The soundhole is round with a herringbone rosette and an aged black pickguard. It has a soft-V shaped mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with gold mother of pearl dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and antique chrome Ibanez covered tuning machines with small oval buttons.
The AVC6 is a similar model with a smaller grand concert body shape and slightly shorter scale neck. The AVD9 is a related model with a solid Thermo Aged mahogany top among other differences.
