The AVD16LTD is an Artwood Vintage series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2016. It was made in China as a spot model which was offered in Europe.
The AVD16LTD features a dreadnought body shape with a solid Thermo Aged Sitka spruce top with Thermo Aged Adirondack spruce X bracing on solid Indian rosewood sides and two-piece Indian rosewood back with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone and wooden rosette and a black pickguard. It has a satin finished Thermo Aged mahogany neck with a soft-V shape, a diamond volute, and a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with special mother of pearl snowflake position markers. The headstock sports a special decorative design. Components include a compensated bone saddle in an ebony bridge with hard maple bridge pins, a bone nut, hard maple strap buttons and gold Gotoh sealed tuning machines with butterbean buttons.
