The AUP10N is an AU series acoustic piccolo guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2024. It is produced in China.
The AUP10N features a completely new and unique body with the back and sides carved out of a single block of solid paulownia with sculpted sound ports on each side at the waist. The laminated spruce top has no traditional sound hole and the guitar's top edge features an Elevated Comfort Armrest where the side is extended and rounded over to prevent the player's arm from resting on and damping the top. A beveled cutaway below the fretboard and an edgeless heel facilitate access to the highest frets. The okoume neck joins the body at the 14th fret and has a 19-fret purpleheart fingerboard with only side position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a double-hole purpleheart bridge, a bone nut, black die-cast tuning machines, and nylon strings.
The AUP10FMNE is a related model with a flamed maple top and on-board electronics.
