The ATK100 is an ATK series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1995. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line. Production models for the US market was made in South Korea.
The AT100 features an asymmetric double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a laminated maple neck with a 22-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a single ATK-P double humbucker pickup mounted in the ATK4 bridge, a plastic nut, black pickguard and Wilkinson open gear tuning machines.
For 1995 the body of the SB finish in the Japan, Asia & South America markets was made with alder.
The ATK100R is a similar model with basswood ody and rosewood fretboard.
The 1996 USA catalog presents the ATK100 model with the selector coil in a position that differs from other catalogs and markets / These were made in Korea.
