The ASV103 is an Artstar series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2019. It was made in Indonesia and sold exclusively in Japan.
The ASV103 features a semi-hollow, double-cutaway body design with a laminated spruce top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides mated to a set-in nyatoh and maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and acrylic block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, a bone nut, a spruce pickguard which matches the body, Sure Grip III knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2021 the fretboard material was changed to Macassar ebony and the bridge was swapped for the new Gibraltar Artist.
The ASV113 is a similar model with a flamed maple top. The AFV105 is a related full-hollow guitar.
The ASV103 was discontinued after 2021.
