The ASR70 is an Artcore series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2013. It was produced in China.
The ASR70 features a double-cutaway, full-hollow body design with an arched laminated maple top with ƒ holes and ivory binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and acrylic block markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Artcore dog ear style P90 single coil pickups, a Tune-o-matic style bridge with trapeze tailpiece, a plastic nut, Sure Grip III knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2015 the Artcore pickups were replaced with Classic Elite P9Ds and the pearl block fretboard inlays were switched to acrylic.
