The ASF80 is an Artcore series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2011. It was made in China.
The ASF80 is a sort of hybrid of the semi-hollow AS73 and the full-hollow AF75. It features a full-hollow, double cutaway body design with a maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and pearloid block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups with chrome covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style ART-1 bridge, a trapeze tailpiece, a plastic nut, a bakelite pickguard, black Sure Grip III knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
The AS74 is a similar model with different pickups.
The ASF80 is somehow the ancestor of the ASR70 and current AMH90.
