ASF180 Antique Violin
The ASF180 is an Artstar series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2012. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The ASF180 is a sort of hybrid of the semi-hollow AS200 and the full-hollow AF200. It features a full-hollow, double cutaway body design with a maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and abalone block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls and a Tri-sound switch for the neck, a Tune-o-matic style Gotoh bridge, a trapeze tailpiece, a bone nut, a tortoise shell pickguard with ivory multi-binding, gold Sure Grip III knobs, and Gotoh tuning machines.
For 2014 the nut width was widened from 43mm to 43.5mm.
