The AS93 is an Artcore Expressionist series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2013. It replaced an earlier version which had different pickups and no pickguard. It was made in China.
The AS93 features a full-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design with a laminated flamed maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and acrylic block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, a plastic nut, Sure Grip III knobs, a black bakelite pickguard and Ibanez tuning machines.
The AS93L is a left-handed version. The AS93TB and AS93TG are related models with a vibrato bridge and black or gold hardware. The AM93 is a related model with a slightly smaller body.
The AS93 was discontinued after 2017 and replaced with the similar AS93FM.
