The AS93 is an Artcore series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2007. It was made in China.
The AS93 features a full-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design with a laminated flamed maple (or flamed sycamore) top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on flamed maple/sycamore back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and acrylic block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, a plastic nut, speed knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2011 the Sure Grip III knobs were introduced.
The AS93PV is a similar model with a vine pattern inlay on the top. The AS93C is a similar model with a cocobolo body.
