The AS93ZW features a full-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design constructed of a laminated zebrawood top with ƒ holes and cream multi-binding on laminated zebrawood sides and back. The set-in nyatoh and maple neck has a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with cream binding and acrylic block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, a plastic nut, a tortoise shell pickguard, Sure Grip III knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2020 the bridge was replaced with the new Gibraltar Performer. For 2021 the fretboard material was changed to Macassar ebony.
The AS93FM is a similar model constructed of flamed maple. The AS93QMC is a similar spot model with a quilted maple top and chrome hardware. The AF95FM and AG95QA are related full-hollow body models.
