The AS93TG is an Artcore Expressionist series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It was made in China as a spot model to be sold exclusively by Japanese retailer Shimamura Gakki.
The AS93TG features a full-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design with a laminated maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and acrylic block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls, an ART-2 Tune-o-matic style roller bridge with a Bigsby-style vibrato tailpiece, a plastic nut, Sure Grip III knobs, a tortoiseshell pickguard and Ibanez tuning machines.
The AS93TB is a similar model with black hardware and different pickups. The AS93 is a similar model with a flamed maple body and without the vibrato.
