The AS93BC features a full-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design constructed of a laminated linden top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on laminated bocote sides and back. The set-in nyatoh and maple neck has a 22-fret macassar ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and acrylic block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Gibraltar Performer bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, a plastic nut, a tortoise shell pickguard, Sure Grip III knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
