AS53L Tobacco Flat

The AS53L is a left-handed Artcore series hollow body electric guitar model reintroduced by Ibanez for 2021. It is produced in Indonesia.

The AS53L features a double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design constructed of an arched laminated sapele top with ƒ holes and ivory binding on laminated sapele sides and back. The a set-in nyatoh neck has a 22-fret walnut fingerboard with ivory binding and acrylic dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Infinity R humbucking pickups, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar Performer bridge with Quik Change III tailpiece, a plastic nut, speed knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.

For 2022 the body material was changed to linden. For 2025 the fretboard material was changed to rosewood.

The AS53 is a right-handed version.
