The AS103SM is an Artcore Custom series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2007. It was made in China.
The AS103SM features a full-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design with a laminated spalted maple top with ƒ holes and flame maple multi-binding on spalted maple back and sides mated to a set-in maple and walnut neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with flame maple binding and abalone custom split block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 Custom humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, a plastic nut, a rosewood pickguard, rosewood knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines with white buttons.
Several similar models with different body materials were produced — the AS103 (flamed maple), the AS103BM (burl mahogany), and the AS103HK (Hawaiian koa). The AF105SM is a related full-hollow model.
