The AS103BM is an Artcore Custom series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2007. It was made in China.
The AS103BM features a full-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design with a laminated burl maple top with ƒ holes and flame maple multi-binding on burl maple back and sides mated to a set-in maple and walnut neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with flame maple binding and abalone custom block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 Custom humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, a plastic nut, a rosewood pickguard, rosewood knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines with white buttons.
For 2008 a new Exotic Explorer finish with a vintage world map overlaid on the top was introduced. A similar finish was offered on the AF105SM.
Several similar models with different body materials were produced — the AS103 (flamed maple), AS103HK (Hawaiian koa), AS103SM (spalted maple). The AM103BM is a related model with a slightly smaller body. The AF105BM is a related full-hollow model.
