The ARZIR27 is a seven string ARZ series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It was produced in China as part of the metal focused Iron Label line.
The ARZIR27 features a mahogany body with abalone purfling and white binding mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a smooth heel and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and split block position markers. Components include dual active EMG humbucking pickups with individual volume controls, a Full Tune III fixed bridge and tailpiece, black Sure Grip III knobs and locking tuning machines.
A six-string version, the ARZIR20, is also available as is a similar model with a figured bubinga top, the ARZIR27FB.
The ARZIR27 was discontinued after 2015.
