The ARZ6UCS is an Artist series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2016. It is made in Japan by Fujigen as part of the Prestige Uppercut line which feature English-made Bare Knuckle pickups. The ARZ6UCS was offered in Japan as a 2016 spot model before being introduced as a standard model for 2017.
The ARZ6UCS features an arched maple top on a single cutaway mahogany body mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a smooth heel and an ebony fingerboard with multi-binding and no inlays. The fretboard features 24 stainless steel frets. Components include dual Bare Knuckle humbucking pickups with individual volume controls, a fixed bridge and tailpiece, and Gotoh locking tuners.
For 2018 the mahogany body was replaced by African mahogany.
The ARZ6UC is a similar model with nickel silver frets. The ARZ6D is a related Prestige spot model with Seymour Duncan pickups.
