ARZ6UC Black Flat Red copyright sprite

The ARZ6UC is an Artist series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2014. It was among the initial offerings in the Prestige Uppercut line which feature English-made Bare Knuckle pickups and are made in Japan by FujiGen.

The ARZ6UC features a single cutaway archtop mahogany body with a maple top mated with a set-in maple and mahogany neck with a smooth heel with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and no inlays. Components include dual Bare Knuckle Nailbomb humbucking pickups with individual volume controls, a Tight Tune fixed bridge and tailpiece, and Gotoh locking tuners.

The ARZ6UCS is a similar model with stainless steel frets which was introduced in 2016 as a spot model offered only in Japan. For 2017, the stainless fret model replaced the ARZ6UC.
