- For a list of ARX models, see Portal:ARX series.
The ARX series is a line of solid body electric guitar models produced for Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand.
The ARX models are based on the classic Ibanez Artist model with a double cutaway body shape with short, pointy horns. The ARX models are all dual-humbucker hard-tail models.
The first ARX models were introduced in 2006 along with the ARC series as a more affordable alternative to the long-running Artist line. The ARC series has a single-cutaway body with a rounded lower horn. A third related series, the single-cutaway, pointy horned ART series, was introduced in 2007.
The ARX line was discontinued after 2012.
