The ART500 is an ART series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It was produced in China.
The ART500 features a quilted maple top with binding on an arched mahogany body mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a smooth heel a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and special position markers. Components include dual Ibanez active LoZ humbucking pickups mounted in rosewood pickup rings and powered by two AA batteries, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar III bridge with Quik Change III tailpiece and rosewood top hat knobs.
The ART520 is a similar model with split block inlays, metal pickup rings and black speed knobs.
The ART500 was discontinued after just one year in production.
