The AR720FM is an Artist series guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It was produced in China.
The AR720FM features a flamed maple top with abalone purfling and creme binding on a mahogany body mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fretboard with abalone binding and split block position markers. Components include a Gibraltar fixed bridge with a sustain block, dual Ibanez Super 80 humbucking pickups with "Flying Finger" gold covers and individual volume and tone controls wired to Tri-sound switches which allow a wide range of tone options, gold Sure Grip III knobs, Ibanez Smooth Tuner AS tuning machines and a bone nut.
The AR420 is a visually similar model which has different pickups, a different bridge and a rosewood fretboard. The AR620FM is a similar model with a different bridge.
The AR720FM was discontinued after just one year in production.
