The AR305 is an Artist series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1982. It was made in Japan.
The AR305 features a double-cutaway mahogany body with a bound dish carved burl mahogany top mated to a set-in three-piece maple neck with a 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearl and abalone block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls and a fixed bridge and tailpiece. Each pickup has a Tri-sound switch with three pickup settings: humbucker, single-coil or reverse phase.
The AR300 is a similar model with a flame maple top. The AR105 is a related model with dot fretboard markers and without the Tri-sound switching. The RAR300BM is essentially a reissue of this guitar from 1996.
