The AR300 is an Artist series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2004. It was produced by Cort in South Korea.
The AR300 features a flamed maple top with cream binding on a mahogany body mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and split block position markers. Components include a Tune-o-matic style fixed bridge and Quik Change tailpiece and dual Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls.
The AR305 is a similar model with a burl mahogany top. The AR250 is a related model with different pickups and fretboard inlays. The SAR300G is a similar spot model with a solid black finish and gold hardware.
The AR300 essentially replaced the AR250 in 2004 and was subsequently replaced by the AR300RE in 2008.
