The AMH90 features a compact, full-hollow, double cutaway body design constructed of a laminated linden top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on laminated linden sides and back mated to a set-in nyatoh and maple neck with a 22-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and acrylic block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Gibraltar Performer tune-o-matic style bridge, a trapeze tailpiece, a plastic nut, a red tortoise shell pickguard, Sure Grip III knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
The AMH90QM is a related spot model with a quilted maple top. The AM93QM and AM93ME are related model with semi-hollow bodies of, respectively, quilted maple and Macassar ebony.
