The AM93L is a left-handed Artcore Expressionist series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2014. It was made in China.
The AM93L features a medium-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design with a laminated quilted maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on quilted maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 Custom humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, a plastic nut, Sure Grip III knobs, a black bakelite pickguard and Ibanez tuning machines.
Shortly after production started in 2014 a couple of changes were introduced: the pickups were changed from Super 58 Custom to Super 58 and the inlays were changed to acrylic.
The AM93 is a right-handed version.
The AM93L was discontinued after 2016.
