The AM83LTD is an Artcore Expressionist series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2014. It was made in China.
The AM83LTD features a medium-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design with a laminated maple top with ƒ holes and cream multi-binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with chrome covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, a plastic nut, Sure Grip III knobs, a cream pickguard and Ibanez tuning machines.
The AM83 is a similar model with a flamed sycamore body, mahogany neck, dot fretboard inlays and a black pickguard. The AM93 is a related model with a quilted maple body and gold hardware.
The AM83LTD was produced only in 2014. Its believe that the Sparkle Green version was offered only in the US market and the Sparkle Pink version was a spot model exclusively for Japan.
