The AM66 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1985. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Artist series. It is a spot model which never appeared in a catalog; it seems likely it was sold only in Europe. The AM67 is a very similar model; it's unclear what differences, if any, exist between the two models.

The AM66 features a compact, semi-hollow, double cutaway body design with an arched, laminated figured maple top with ƒ holes and ivory binding on figured maple back and sides with a maple center block mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and pearloid dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups mounted in ivory plastic pickup rings, a Short Stop bridge with integrated tailpiece, a bone nut, Sure Grip II knobs, and Smooth Tuner tuning machines.

The AM60 is a similar model with different pickups. The AM70 is a similar model with a birch body and different pickups.

The AM66 was discontinued after 1985. Perhaps as few as 124 examples were produced.[1]
