The AKJ95 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2013. It was made in China as part of the Artcore Expressionist series.
The AKJ95 features a thick, full-hollow body design with a laminated flamed maple top with ƒ holes and cream multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides with a single pointed Florentine cutaway mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with cream binding and aged pearl block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with chrome covers and individual volume and tone controls, an ART-W bridge with wooden saddle and base, a trapeze tailpiece, a plastic nut, a black bakelite pickguard, Sure Grip III knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
The pearl block inlays were changed to acrylic block in mid 2014.
The AFJ95 is a similar model with a spruce top and a rounded Venetian cutaway.
