The AK86 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2006. It was made in China as part of the Artcore Deluxe series. It replaced the similar AK85.
The AK86 features a thick, full-hollow body design with a laminated spruce top with ƒ holes and cream multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides with a single pointed Florentine cutaway mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with cream binding and abalone block position markers.
