The AK100 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was made in China as part of the Artcore series.
The AK100 features a thick, full-hollow body design with a laminated maple top with ƒ holes and cream multi-binding on maple back and sides with a single pointed Florentine cutaway mated to a set-in maple and walnut neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with cream binding and abalone split block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Super 58 Custom humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, ivory pickup rings, an ART-W bridge with wooden saddle and base, a VT60 trapeze tailpiece, a plastic nut, a maple pickguard with matching finish, rosewood bell knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
The AK105SM is a similar model with a spalted maple body. The AK95 is a related model with a spruce top on flamed maple back and sides and different pickups and tailpiece.
