The AGB200 is an Artcore Bass series semi-hollow body electric bass model re-introduced by Ibanez in late 2018. It is made in China as part of the standard line.
The AGB200 features a semi-hollow, single-cutaway body constructed of a laminated maple top with ƒ-holes and ivory multi-binding on laminated maple sides and back. The mahogany and maple neck joins the body at the 16th fret and has a 22-fret laurel fingerboard with ivory binding and white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Classic Elite Bass passive pickups, a Gibraltar III bridge with Quik Change III tailpiece, Sure Grip III knobs, a plastic nut, and Ibanez tuning machines with white buttons.
For 2019 the mahogany and maple neck was changed to nyatoh and maple. For 2020 the maple body was changed to linden and the laurel fretboard was changed to walnut. A new Black Flat finish was introduced for 2023.
The AGB260 is a similar model with a sapele body and nyatoh neck. The AFB200 is a related model with a slightly larger, thicker full-hollow body and a wooden bridge and trapeze tailpiece.
