The AFJ95 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2013. It was made in China as part of the Artcore Expressionist series. It replaced the similar AFJ85.
The AFJ95 features a thick, full-hollow body design with a laminated spruce top with ƒ holes and cream multi-binding on maple back and sides with a single rounded Venetian cutaway mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with cream binding and pearl block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, an ART-W bridge with wooden saddle and base, a trapeze tailpiece, a plastic nut, a black bakelite pickguard, Sure Grip III knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
The pearl block inlays were changed to acrylic block in mid 2014.
The AFJ95B is a similar model with a black nut and different finish. The AFJ957 is a similar seven string model. The AFJ91 is a similar model without the bridge pickup. The AKJ95 is a similar model with a flamed maple top and pointed Florentine cutaway.
