The AFC71 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2023. It is produced in Indonesia as part of the Artcore series and is offered exclusively in Japan.
The AFC71 features a thick, single cutaway, full-hollow body design constructed of a laminated linden top with ƒ holes and tortoiseshell binding on laminated linden sides and back. The nyatoh neck joins the body at the 14th fret and has a 20-fret walnut fingerboard with binding and acrylic offset block position markers. Components include a single floating Ibanez Magic Touch-Mini humbucking pickups with gold cover attached at the end of the fretboard, a floating walnut bridge with adjustable, compensated wooden saddle and a trapeze tailpiece with a wooden cover, a plastic nut, a sculpted black pickguard, sapele bell knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines with gold half moon buttons.
