AFB200 Brown Sunburst
The AFB200 is an Artcore Bass series hollow body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2007. It was made in China as part of the Standard range.
The AFB200 features a hollow, single-cutaway design with a maple top with ivory binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22 fret laurel fingerboard with ivory binding and white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Classic Elite Bass passive pickups, a wooden ART-1 bridge and chrome tailpiece, Sure Grip III knobs, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuners.
For 2013 a black pickguard was added and the knobs were changed to Sure Grip IIIs.
The AFB200F is a fretless version. The AGB200 is a related model with a slightly smaller, thinner semi-hollow body and a Tune-o-matic style bridge and tailpiece.
The AFB200 was discontinued after 2016, but a new version was introduced in mid 2018.
