The AFB200 is an Artcore Bass series hollow body electric bass model re-introduced by Ibanez in mid 2018. It is made in China as part of the standard line.
The AFB200 features a hollow, single-cutaway body constructed of a laminated maple top with ivory binding on laminated maple sides and back. The mahogany and maple neck joins the body at the 16th fret and has a 22-fret laurel fingerboard with ivory binding and white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Classic Elite Bass passive pickups, a wooden ART-1 bridge and chrome tailpiece, Sure Grip III knobs, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuners.
For 2019 the mahogany and maple neck was changed to nyatoh and maple. For 2020 the body material was changed to linden and the fretboard was changed to walnut.
The AGB200 is a related model with a slightly smaller, thinner semi-hollow body and a Tune-o-matic style bridge and tailpiece.
