The AF84 is an Artcore series hollow body acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2004. It was produced in China.
The AF84 features a full-hollow body design with a laminated spruce top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides with a single Venetian cutaway mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and abalone block position markers. Components include an ART-W bridge with a wooden saddle and base, a chrome trapeze tailpiece, an ivory plastic nut, a flamed sycamore pickguard, and Ibanez tuning machines.
The AF84E is a related model with a floating mini humbucker pickup at the neck. The AF85 is a related model with a pair of humbucker pickups mounted in the top. The AK84 is a related model with a pointed Florentine cutaway.
