The AF255BM is an Artstar series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2013. It was made in China.
The AF255BM features a full-hollow body design with a burl maple top with ƒ holes and cream multi-binding on burl maple back and sides with a single Venetian cutaway mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with cream binding and pearl and abalone split block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, an ebony bridge with a compensated ebony saddle and a trapeze tailpiece, a bone nut, a bakelite pickguard with rosewood veneer, rosewood knobs, and Gotoh tuning machines.
In late 2014 the fretboard inlays were changed to acrylic and abalone.
The AF155 is a related model with a flamed maple body. The AS253BM is a related semi-hollow guitar.
The AF255BM was discontinued after 2016.
