The AF155 is an Artstar series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2013. It was made in China.
The AF155 features a full-hollow body design with a flamed maple top with ƒ holes and cream multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides with a single Venetian cutaway mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with cream binding and pearl and abalone split block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 Custom humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, an ebony bridge with a compensated ebony saddle and a trapeze tailpiece, a bone nut, a bakelite pickguard with flamed maple veneer, Sure Grip III knobs, and Gotoh tuning machines.
The pickups were changed from Super 58 Custom to Super 58 in mid-2014. For 2015 the fretboard inlays were changed to acrylic and abalone.
The AF155L is a left-handed version. The AF151 is a similar model without the bridge pickup. The AS153 is a related semi-hollow guitar.
