The AF105SM is an Artcore Custom series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2007. It was made in China.
The AF105SM features a full-hollow body design with a spalted maple top with ƒ holes and cream multi-binding on spalted maple back and sides with a single Venetian cutaway mated to a set-in maple and walnut neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with cream binding and pearl and abalone custom block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 Custom humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style bridge on a wooden base and a tailpiece with custom wood cover, a plastic nut, a rosewood pickguard and truss rod cover, rosewood bell-shaped knobs, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines with white half moon buttons.
For 2009 a new Exotic Explorer finish with a vintage world map decal overlaid on the top was introduced. The AS103BM is a semi-hollow model offered with a similar finish.
Several similar models with different body materials were produced — the AF105 (flamed maple), the AF105BM (burl mahogany), and the AF105HK (Hawaiian koa). The AS103SM is a related semi-hollow body model.
