The AEWC300N is an AEW series acoustic/ electric nylon stringed guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2019. It was produced in China.
The AEWC300N features a special grand concert sized comfort body with a soft Florentine cutaway, forearm and back contours and an arched back. It has a solid Sitka spruce top on flamed maple back and sides with a high gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone rosette. It has a satin-finished nyatoh neck with a slotted headstock and 20-fret, flat laurel fingerboard with offset white dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a special top-loading laurel bridge which eliminates the need for bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez classical tuning machines.
Electronics consist of a Fishman Sonicore pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and balanced XLR and ¼" stereo output jacks.
For 2020 the laurel fretboard and bridge were replaced with walnut.
The AEWC300 is a similar model with a solid headstock and slightly shorter neck scale.
The AEWC300N was discontinued after 2020.
