The AEWC24MB is an AEW series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2017. It was produced in China.
The AEWC24MB features a grand concert shaped body with a soft Florentine cutaway. The top is laminated spruce on maple burl back and sides with an open pore finish. The round soundhole has a rosewood rosette. It has a mahogany neck with a 25" scale, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with maple dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines with black buttons.
Electronics consist of a Fishman Sonicore pickup, an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and balanced XLR and ¼" outputs.
The AEWC31BC is a similar model with a bocote top and mahogany or sapele back and sides. The AEWC32FM is a related model with a thinner body, a flamed maple top and different electronics.
The AEWC24MB was discontinued after 2018.
