AEWC11 Transparent Charcoal Burst Low Gloss (more images)

The AEWC11 is an AEW series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It is produced in China.

The AEWC11 features a grand concert shaped body with a soft Florentine cutaway. The top is laminated spruce with black and white binding on sapele back and sides with a gloss finish. The round soundhole has a black & white acrylic rosette. t has a nyatoh neck with a 25" scale, a Comfort Grip profile, and a satin finish, and a 20-fret walnut fingerboard with offset white dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a top loading walnut bridge (eliminating the need for bridge pins), a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.

Electronics consist of a Fishman Sonicore pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-SP1 preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and feeding a ¼" output jack. The pickup was renamed the S-Core for 2024, but it is the same unit.

The body was made slightly longer for 2022; the neck profile was also renamed, but the dimensions were unchanged. The fretboard and bridge were changed to rosewood for 2025.

The AEWC10 is a similar model with opaque finishes.
